Rookesbury Park Caravan & Motorhome Clubsite.

We arrived later than planned to the site due to car troubles and this meant slim pickings of pitches, after some help locating available pitches by the warden, we were left with grass and due to the recent weather it was rather boggy.

We relocated the following morning to a lovely hardstanding and the rest of our trip was fab

The shop run by the wardens was the best we've come across, the boys especially Toby enjoyed (several) daily trips to buy a “lolly from the bucket!”

There was plenty of choice of ice creams, including some for Hugo the dog! Some mega tasty cakes, and all the usual essentials! These little things make such a difference to a family trip!

The site is visited Fridays by a fish and chip van, it was super tasty and very reasonably priced. Saturdays is the burger van, we didn't try this one as we already had the makings for burgers to have on the Cadac BBQ

The walk down to the local village Wickham was lovely around 40mins on easy terrain, despite some mud due again to the recent wet weather. We went to the Kings Head Pub in the square, lovely beer garden, table service ordering by app, plus a kids play area! what more could you want!

Rookesbury is one of top Clubites we like to visit
